I don't want to be rule-heavy, but I'd appreciate it if you could please cast your eyes quickly over the following guidelines. That way, there can be no hold-up with your application!

Please note: Going ahead and registering here is taken as confirmation that you have read and agree with the conditions outlined below, so it's in your interest to read them properly!

Fill in your application carefully and honestly.
Think carefully before you submit your application. Please don't put down misleading information or lie about your age: we will find out and your application - and possibly even subsquent hosting - will be removed. If you want your prospective host/ee to know more about you to find out what you have in common, simply drop them an email. :)

Only one submission per person.
Please don't submit multiple applications. The database can be viewed in a variety ways, so constantly submitting doesn't necessarily mean you'll get hosted/ees faster, particularly as new registrations simply go to the bottom of the list! If your details or circumstances have changed, simply use the update form to notify me of your latest information.

Accept hostee/ing declines gracefully.
If everyone found the perfect host/ee(s) straight away, GWYG wouldn't be here. So please try and be patient and not take it to heart if your first few applications are declined. Just keep trying - you'll get there!

Hate/distasteful site hosting requests will not be processed.
If you're looking to host pornography, hentai, hate sites or anything else that I feel is inappropriate, your application will not be added. My decision on this is final and non-negotiable.

Please keep your information updated.
If you find a host/ee and no longer need to be listed here, please remember to submit your removal form. It'll help keep our information current and ensure that you don't continue to get emails/requests from here.

I'd appreciate a link back. If a visitor to your site is also looking for a host/ee, that way you'll be helping them out just like GWYG helped you out. :)

(Hostees Only) Try and give an example of your web designs/experience.
A link to an existing site - or even artwork or banners if you don't have anything online right now - helps a host gauge your experience and ability. If you're just starting out though, don't worry - our lists are not elitist and we will accept all applications, regardless of your talent or experience. :)

(Hosts Only) Hosts charging for space will NOT be listed.
The whole point of this project is to offer FREE, no-strings domain space to people who as yet can't get a domain of their own. Please do not exploit this. If you charge for space will may still list you, but only if you offer free space, too.
